SUPPORT THE YMCA
Now you can make an ONLINE donation to our Annual “Strong Kids Campaign” as well as our current “Be a Champion for Kids” Capital Campaign!

About Our Annual Change A Life Campaign
Each year, thousands of individuals learn to swim, play and compete in youth sports leagues, go to summer camp, become healthy and active and make new friends at the YMCA. The YMCA of East Tennessee’s annual Change a Life campaign ensures that no one is denied the opportunity to share in the YMCA experience due to an inability to pay.

Your donation to the 2008 Change A LIfe campaign truly makes a difference. As a supporter of the campaign, your gift benefits children, adults and families by making YMCA memberships and programs available to everyone. For over 150 years, our YMCA has been building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. In 2006, the YMCA of Tennessee raised over $250,000 to provide financial assistance for thousands of families throughout the community. As the requests increase, so does the need for funds to provide these services. Your donation is an investment in our community and all dollars raised in the local community stay in the community to support kids and families.

About Our Be a Champion for Kids Capital Campaign

Now more than ever, East Tennessee needs the proper facilities to foster fitnessand wellness. We are facing a health crisis, with obesity and the many health concerns it creates. The YMCA has an aggressive plan including the renovation of our Downtown YMCA, building a new full facility YMCA at Concord Park, and partnering with Knoxville Youth Sports to build a YMCA at Lakeshore Park.

We’ve been serving the bodies, minds and spirits of thousands of people since 1854. We’ve seen our community’s needs and we’ve responded with action for more than 152 years.

Today, our response is focused on two new facilities and renovating the Downtown YMCA so that every person in every program can achieve his or her potential ever day. At the YMCA of East Tennessee we’re building a healthier community on person at a time.

We need your help to make that possible!
