HI DEFINITION – a challenging 45
to 60 minute class that uses simple step and
floor patterns combined with resistance and
balance training to give you a complete workout.
GO LOW – a 45 minute low impact
floor aerobics class. This class features
traditional movements to fun and motivating music
to get you energized while being kind to your
joints.
AM INTERVALS – research has proven
that interval workouts challenge the cardiovascular
system by alternating between hi intensity and
lower intensity movements. AM intervals
will get your day off to a great start.
CARDIO CLUB-this 45 minute high-energy
morning class combines step and floor aerobics
for a great cardio class!
ROCK & BOX –A great cardio workout
combining Kickboxing moves with Hi/Lo aerobics
for 60 minutes of calorie burning fun! You
will punch and kick as well as grapevine and
step touch to high energy music with a great
group of friends. This class will challenge
you to feel your best!
STEP/STEP COMBO/STEP-ABS – a 45
minute class utilizing the step to provide an
overall cardiovascular workout. This class
is fast-paced and fun with choreography to keep
you challenged– come ready to break a sweat! The
Step/Abs option on Monday at 5:30 will end with
an awesome Core routine.
POWER & GRACE – this 60 minute
class alternates between the step, the floor
and the gliding discs for variety. Body
bars and medicine balls add to the challenge. This
class will improve both your cardiovascular endurance
and your overall body strength.
STEP INTERVAL – this 45 minute class
will use the step and resistance tools to help
you maximize your calorie burn. Intervals
alternate between bouts of high-intensity and
lower-intensity exercises which are proven to
push you over a plateau. This class is
fast-paced to keep you on your toes!
WEEKEND WARRIOR - start the weekend
off right with this 90 minute workout combining
cardio and resistance training. Come each week
and find out what this Saturday’s special
is – it will bring out the Weekend Warrior
in you!
SPIN – Group cycling led by Instructor. 45
minute classes that provide a great cardio workout. Appropriate
for all levels of fitness – but please
come to class 10 minutes early and let the instructor
know if you are new to ensure proper bike set-up. Give
it a try! Due to the limited number of
bikes you must sign up for this class at the
courtesy counter or by calling 777-9622. Please
come with a full water bottle and towel – you
will sweat!
TOTAL BODY– Progressive resistance
class utilizing a plate-loaded bar. 50
minutes provides a complete weight workout. You
will focus on improving your overall strength
and body composition. To ensure all participants
have equipment please sign up for this class
at the courtesy desk or by calling 777-9622.
CHAOS – a strength training and
cardio class which utilizes the Body bars and
any other equipment that the instructor can dream
up. You will focus on improving your overall
strength and body composition.
ARMS AND ABS – Who doesn’t
want great looking arms and abs? This class
will focus on conditioning these muscle groups
to give you the look you want.
GUTS AND GLUTES – join the 8:05
crowd as they alternate between conditioning
the lower body muscles with emphasis on the Gluteus
Maximus and the muscles of the Core. Spri
tubing is used to get the most out of this variable
resistance workout.
STRENGTH & FLEX – a
class that will strengthen and lengthen the muscles
with a yoga-inspired flair.
EXPRESS BAND-AID – a 30 minute class
that uses the variable resistance of the Spri
tubing to challenge the upper and lower body
from all angles. A quick workout for a
busy day!
PILATES – Core training appropriate
for all levels of fitness. This is a mat
class which utilities the Joseph Pilates method. Strengthens
the powerhouse and improves flexibility. A perfect
cross-training workout.
YOGA – a 60 min class perfect for
building strength, endurance and flexibility
in all areas of the body. Yoga will also
help you reduce stress and bring balance to your
busy life.
DAYBREAK YOGA – a 45 minute class
that will energize the body and soul so you can
face the day with confidence. Flowing poses
will get the body moving and improve your flexibility
and core strength.
YOGA FOR SENIORS – gentle
yoga poses adapted to a chair, suitable for beginning
exercisers, recuperating individuals and cardiac
rehab.
SILVERSNEAKERS ® - Have fun and move
to the music through a variety of exercises designed
to increase muscular strength, range of movement,
and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held
weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball
are offered for resistance, and a chair is used
for seated and/or standing support.
SILVERSNEAKERS ® CARDIOCIRCUIT – Combine
fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular
and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit
workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held
weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball
is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A
chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation
exercises.
YOGA FOR SENIORS – gentle
yoga poses adapted to a chair, suitable for beginning
exercisers, recuperating individuals and cardiac
rehab.
MEET THE CHALLENGE – this class
meets at 7pm on Monday evening for mentally and
physically challenged adults. Each week
the instructor focuses on a different skill.
TEEN FITNESS – this class meets
on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-6:30 for
our members ages 10-14. It teaches proper
use of our Fitness Floor equipment. Please
sign up in advance at the Courtesy Counter.
KIDS FITNESS CLUB – this 45 minute
class meets Mondays at 4:15 for ages 7 and up. It
focuses on making physical activity a priority
in our youth members life.
